Tevy Tith, MD, FACOG

Dr. Tevy Tith has been practicing high-risk obstetrics/ MFM at Sharp Hospital for 13 years and is proud to be joining United Medical Doctors. Dr. Tith will be the new Medical Director for Sharp Mary Birch Maternal Fetal Medicine.  She earned her medical degree from the UC San Diego School of Medicine, completed her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of California, Los Angeles’ Ronald Reagan Medical Center, and completed her fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center. Dr. Tith has served as the Director of Ultrasound since 2016 and as Vice Chief of San Diego Perinatal Center since 2018.

Her clinical interests include prenatal diagnosis and medical and surgical complications in pregnancy as they relate to acute maternal and obstetric complications (pulmonary, cardiac, hematologic), hyperemesis gravidarum, prenatal diagnosis, and diabetes and obesity in pregnancy. Her research interest is in preeclampsia.

She is excited about new therapies that incorporate pharmacogenetics and cutting-edge diagnostic capabilities using ultrasound. She is also interested in the use of AI as an adjunct to help improve patient diagnoses, therapies, and outcomes. She is fluent in Cambodian and Spanish.
