Our Mission

At United Breast Center, we are proud to be an American College of Radiology (ACR) Accredited Facility, achieving the gold standard in medical imaging by oldest and most experienced imaging and radiation oncology accreditation body in the nation. Our comprehensive facility provides advanced in-office breast imaging services and tailored action plans to guide patients who may need additional evaluation or treatment following screening.

United Breast Center is conveniently located off the 215 freeway across from the Loma Linda Murrieta Hospital in the new Murrieta Makena two-story building.

    How Do I Know If I Need a Screening Mammogram or Diagnostic Mammogram?

    If you are having any breast-related symptoms*, then diagnostic imaging is recommended. These studies will require an order and insurance authorization, if applicable, from a referring provider to schedule the exam. You can also request an appointment with our Breast Surgeon to evaluate your symptoms and have the appropriate testing ordered.

    *Breast related symptoms for diagnostic imaging include but are not limited to: breast pain, lump/mass, nipple discharge, skin changes, etc.

    Do You Accept Self-Referrals for Screening Mammograms?

    Yes! We now accept self-referrals for screening mammograms. Please contact us directly to schedule at (951) 942-2140. If you are requesting a screening mammogram, please be advised that this is usually covered by insurance for women age 40 and older who have not had other breast imaging within the past year.
