Dr. Saad Farooq is a fellowship-trained, board-certified diagnostic radiologist. He graduated from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency in diagnostic radiology at Hemet Global Medical Center. He later completed a rigorous yearlong fellowship in breast imaging and intervention at UCLA – Harbor.
Dr. Farooq has been in private practice since completing his training in Southern California. As a breast-imaging specialist, he interprets all breast imaging modalities, including screening and diagnostic mammograms, breast ultrasounds, and breast MRI. Dr. Farooq is also proficient in image-guided procedures, including ultrasound-guided core biopsies, stereotactic biopsies, MRI-guided biopsies, abscess drainage and pre-surgical localization procedures.
In his spare time, Dr. Farooq enjoys spending time with his wife and their 2-year-old daughter.
