Meggan Chappell is a certified physician assistant with a strong background in patient care. She earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Utah in 2022. Prior to pursuing her physician assistant degree, Meggan received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Southern Utah University in 2009. She also earned her Medical Assistant certificate and worked as a Medical Assistant, Scribe, and Phlebotomist for eight years in various specialties, including Family Medicine, Nephrology, and Gastroenterology.

Before joining United Medical Doctors in 2024, Meggan was with Long Beach Gastroenterology Associates, where she gained valuable experience in the field of gastroenterology. She is board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is licensed by the Physician Assistant Board of California. Meggan values building meaningful relationships with her patients, ensuring they feel heard and supported in their healthcare journey.

Outside of work, Meggan enjoys traveling, cycling, hiking, and spending quality time with her partner, dog, family, and friends.
