
Priya Reddy, MD
Rheumatology
Dr. Priya Reddy is a lifelong California local. After graduating from UCLA, she received her medical degree from California Northstate University in Sacramento. She then moved to San Diego, where she completed a 3-year Internal Medicine residency at Scripps Clinic/Green and served on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic response. She continued her training at Scripps for an additional 2 years to pursue a Rheumatology fellowship.
While completing her fellowship, she contributed to multiple research initiatives, notably investigating strategies to reduce the incidence of gout flares in San Diego County and assessing vaccine responses in patients with immune-mediated inflammatory disease. She also delivered multiple in-depth presentations on rheumatologic diseases to fellow healthcare professionals, contributing to ongoing scholarly education and knowledge sharing. She is board-certified in both internal medicine and rheumatology. She is dedicated to working closely with patients to manage rheumatic disease and support their long-term health and well-being.
Outside of work, Dr. Reddy enjoys spending time with family, cooking new recipes and playing pickle ball and tennis.
