Our Mission
United Pathology is proud to serve the communities of Southern California at our two CLIA-certified, state-licensed labs in Murrieta and Temecula. At each location, our lab teams work efficiently and reliably to get the results in a timely manner, but most of all they take pride in their work and strive to attain the highest quality of service for our providers and patients.
About Our Temecula Lab
Our Temecula lab utilizes the latest technology such as the Vitros XL 7600 instrument to perform accurate and reliable testing for routine chemistries to assess for disorders of the GI, liver, endocrine, and kidney systems
We also perform blood testing to evaluate for common conditions such as anemia, infection, and inflammation.
Our respiratory infection testing also relies on the latest PCR technology developed by BioMerieux (BioFire RP2.1) to simultaneously detect among up to 23 known common and less common respiratory pathogens including the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) as well as several different subtypes of influenza and parainfluenza viruses
Our GI testing also uses similar PCR technology to simultaneously detect among up to 22 common GI pathogens known to cause bowel infections which can lead to common GI complaints such as abdominal pain, fever, weight loss, and change in bowel habits.
About Our Murrieta Lab
Our Murrieta Pathology Lab is an anatomic pathology lab which focuses on processing and interpreting tissue biopsy specimens from all our GI endoscopy centers, United Surgery Centers, in Riverside, San Diego, Orange, and Los Angeles counties as well as non-GI tissue specimens from our local surgery center in Temecula. We evaluate for the presence of adult and pediatric GI disorders in both the upper and lower GI tract including for GERD (reflux), Barrett’s esophagus, gastritis, chemical gastropathies, celiac disease, inflammatory bowel disease, infections, polyps, and various tumors and cancers.
