Sirus Farivar, MD, FACP, AGAF

GASTROENTEROLOGY

Dr. Sirus Farivar earned his medical degree from Shiraz Medical School, Iran. Following graduation he completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at University of Pennsylvania affiliated hospitals in Philadelphia. He completed his Gastroenterology fellowship at Montefiore Hospital affiliated with University of Pittsburgh. He is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.

Dr. Farivar has been practicing Gastroenterology in Orange County since 1980. He has been Clinical Associate Professor at College of Medicine at University of California, Irvine. Dr. Farivar has served as Chief of Staff, as a member of the Medical Executive Committee and as Chairman, Department of Medicine at Huntington Beach Hospital.

Dr. Farivar is also an active member of the American Gastroenterological Association, Fellow (AGAF), American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, American College of Gastroenterology, American Medical Association, Fellow American College of Physician (FACP). Dr. Farivar is the Medical Director of United Gastroenterologists, Orange County Division.
