Shruti Ariza, MD
GASTROENTEROLOGY
Dr. Ariza is a local of south Orange County. After completing her undergraduate degree in biology and psychology at UCLA, she went to medical school at Hahnemann/Drexel University College of Medicine. Dr. Ariza completed her internal medicine residency at Saint Vincent’s Hospital in New York City, where she also had the honor of serving as Chief Resident, training and teaching medical residents and students.
She completed her gastroenterology fellowship at Saint Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center, affiliated with Columbia University Medical School. During her training, she completed subspecialty rotations including hepatology training at Mount Sinai Medical Center, one of the oldest and largest liver transplant centers in the US.
In addition, Dr. Ariza was selected by the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America to train in Inflammatory Bowel Disease at Massachusetts General Hospital, teaching site of Harvard University.
Dr. Ariza’s desire to serve her hometown brought her back to Orange County in 2012. She lives in Lake Forest with her husband and two children. Dr. Ariza joined David B. Stanton, MD & Associates in 2017.
