Michael Shrader is a highly experienced Physician Assistant (PA) and retired 27-year U.S. Navy veteran with a diverse and distinguished career in military and civilian healthcare. He graduated with a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2011, following an extensive military background that includes serving as a Hospital Corpsman and a Physician Assistant (PA) in the U.S. Navy.
Enlisting in the U.S. Navy in 1997, Michael served with several United States Marine Corps units, participating in three combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. During his enlisted military tenure, he specialized in dermatology and preventive medicine, which provided him with a robust foundation in healthcare. In 2009, he was selected for the Navy Medical Service Corps Interservice Procurement Program, which allowed him to transition into the PA profession and receive training as a commissioned officer.
As a Physician Assistant, Michael has worked in various clinical settings, including sports medicine, pediatrics, urgent care and family medicine. His broad clinical expertise and extensive military experience allow him to approach patient care with a unique and comprehensive perspective. Michael is dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare while drawing from his years of service and training.
