Kirsten Goshen, FNP-BC

Kirsten Goshen is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with advanced training in minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic bariatric and general surgery. Her practice role includes seeing patients for pre- and post-surgical visits, assisting in the Operating Room as a Surgical First Assistant, and caring for patients in the inpatient hospital setting.

Before becoming a Nurse Practitioner and joining Olde Del Mar Surgical, Kirsten was a Registered Nurse on the Medical-Surgical unit for 10 years, as well as the Bariatric Program Coordinator at Scripps La Jolla Hospital. It was here that she first began caring for and working with patients who had undergone Bariatric Weight Loss Surgery. She has been an invaluable member of the Olde Del Mar Surgical team for 10 years and is committed to improving her patients’ health and quality of life. Her dedication to patient care is exemplary and often seen by her colleagues as her life’s mission.

Outside of work, Kirsten enjoys spending time with her French bulldog (Steve), her two grown children and her grandchildren, as well as traveling.
