Joy Starr, a Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C), earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences at Duquesne University in 2023. She completed an accelerated program to obtain her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Duquesne University in 2024. She is certified as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and licensed by the Physician Assistant Board of California.

Joy joined United Medical Doctors: Division of General, Colorectal, and Robotic Surgery alongside Dr. Matthew Schultzel, Dr. Daniel Burgess, and Dr. Laura DeCesare. She has always had a passion for surgery and finds fulfillment in supporting patients throughout their surgical experience.
