Jesse earned his bachelor’s degree in health science with a focus on Pre-medicine and a minor in chemistry from Oregon State University in 2003. He completed his Registered Nursing degree at the University of San Diego in 2006, where he was inducted into the National Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau.

In 2008, Jesse obtained his Master’s Degree in Nursing from the University of San Diego and joined United Gastroenterologists later that year. His clinical interests include inflammatory bowel disease and hepatobiliary disorders.

Jesse is board-certified as an Adult Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and certified as a Surgical First Assistant.

Outside of work, Jesse enjoys surfing, snowboarding, international travel, and returning home to Hawaii to spend time with his family.
