Denise’s undergraduate education includes a Bachelors of Arts in Biology from La Sierra University and an Associates of Science Degree in Nursing and Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Loma Linda University. In 2007, she was inducted into the Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International.
As a registered nurse, she worked in the NICU at Loma Linda University Medical Center then at Loma Linda University Medical Center – Murrieta in Employee Health. In 2011, Denise furthered her education at Loma Linda University by earning a Master’s Degree in the Nurse Practitioner program with emphasis on Family medicine.
She is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and is a member of California Association for Nurse Practitioners, and National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health.
