April King, CRNA
ANESTHESIA
April received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from San Diego State University and her Master of Science in Nursing from University of Southern California, with academic distinction cum laude.
She has delivered anesthesia for over 20 years at local hospitals, various private oral and plastic surgery offices, and volunteer groups. She has also educated and trained student CRNAs at Kaiser and in the military. This has given her first-hand experience with the risks and difficulties of providing safe anesthesia care in patients who are breathing on their own under anesthesia, and the challenge of teaching health care providers how to maintain a patent airway.
This experience provided the impetus for the invention and development of the Jaw Elevation Device (JED)®. April is the Co-Founder, Director, President and CEO of Hypnoz Therapeutic Devices, creator of the JED® www.hypnozdevices.com
