Adam Deising, DO
TRANSPLANT HEPATOLOGY
Dr. Adam Deising, board-certified Gastroenterologist and Transplant Hepatologist, joined United Medical Doctors in 2020, as part of our collaboration with Scripps at our Loma Linda Murrieta multi-specialty office.
Dr. Deising has a specific interest in treating patients with acute and chronic liver disease. He treats patients with viral hepatitis, autoimmune liver disease, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, alcoholic liver disease, drug-induced liver injury and specific genetic liver disease such as Wilsons, alpha-1 anti-trypsin deficiency hemochromatosis, and benign and malignant liver masses.
Dr. Deising also manages complications of cirrhosis and treats patients who require or have undergone liver transplantation for a variety of conditions. He has a specific interest in managing patients with autoimmune hepatitis, PBC, PSC and non-cirrhotic portal hypertension.
Dr. Deising obtained his medical degree at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed an internal medicine residency at Naval Medical Center San Diego and fellowships in transplant hepatology at Georgetown University Medical Center and gastroenterology at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
