Dr. Nok Hang (Tony) Lai was born and raised in Hong Kong. He pursued his pre-medical education, studying abroad in the United States, and completed his undergraduate degree at La Sierra University. He then earned his medical degree at Western University of Health Sciences. After completing medical school, he completed an internship in General Surgery, followed by his core residency training at Creighton University School of Medicine.  Dr. Lai gained well-versed medical and surgical experience through rotation in Burn ICU, Trauma surgery, general surgery, orthopedic surgery, internal medicine, and Infectious disease. During his medical training, he was trained and mentored by esteemed faculty in foot and ankle surgery.

Dr. Lai treats all aspects of foot and ankle pathology and deformity, including but not limited to foot and ankle fractures, arthritis, bunions, flatfeet, high-arch feet, plantar fasciitis, and sports-related injuries such as ankle sprain and tendon pathology. He has a deep understanding of the challenges faced by the under-served population. He is dedicated to serving the community, ensuring everyone can access high-quality foot and ankle care.

Dr. Lai is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and Cantonese Chinese.  In his spare time, he enjoys playing sports like basketball, swimming and traveling around the world with his wife and his mini poodle.
