Roxanne G. Lim, M.D. earned her medical degree at the University of the Philippines College of Medicine. Following graduation, she completed her internship and residency training at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. She then completed her Gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Missouri and Harry S. Truman Veterans’ Hospital in Columbia, Missouri. She also worked as a hospitalist in Rush University in which she supervised medical students and internal medicine residents.
Dr. Lim joined United Gastroenterologists in 2014. Current interests in Gastroenterology include gastrointestinal women’s health, irritable bowel syndrome, colon cancer screening and surveillance, video capsule endoscopy, esophageal disorders, and viral hepatitis.
Dr. Lim consistently made it to the Dean’s List throughout medical school and she graduated at the top of her class. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Lim is also an active member of the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA) and American College of Gastroenterology (ACG).
